Design Rules

  • Design must contain the phrase “I Voted” on a 2-inch circular design.

  • Design must be the student’s original artwork and contain no copyrighted images or trademarks.

  • Artwork must be nonpartisan, nonpolitical, and not reference or advocate for a party, candidate, or issue.

  • Artwork must not include anything obscene or inappropriate for general audiences.

  • Artwork does not feature the likeness of an individual

  • Artwork should be saved as a high-resolution PDF.

Contest Rules and Eligibility:

  • The contest is open to all public, private, charter, and home-schooled students residing in Erie County, enrolled in grades 9-12.

  • All entries must be submitted electronically by December 12, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Late entries will not be accepted.

  • Each entry must be submitted individually by completing the form, along with a release form and a signed parent/guardian’s consent for students 17 and under. All materials must be submitted by the deadline. Late entries will not be considered.

2025 Contest

Erie County Voter Registration and Elections Office challenges all students residing in Erie County, grades 9-12, to design a new “I Voted” sticker to be used in the 2026 Primary and General Elections. These newly designed stickers can help engage students in the democratic process while encouraging creativity.

The contest is divided into two rounds. In round one, the Elections “I Voted” Sticker Committee will review and judge all submissions and select the final 10. In round two, the public can vote for their favorite sticker of the 10 pre-selected options. The winner will be announced on January 16, 2026.
