Important Dates
- April 21st – Tentative first day to vote in-person at the Voter Registration Office 140 W. 6th St. Rm 112 of the Erie County Courthouse.
- May 5th – Last day to register to vote in the Primary.
- May 13th – Last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot.
- May 20th – Last day for the County Boards of Election to receive voted Mail-in and civilian absentee ballots (must be received by 8:00 P.M.)

Getting Registered
There are three ways to get registered to vote in Erie County, Pennsylvania:
- Filling out an online form on the official Commonwealth of Pennsylvania website
- Downloading, printing, and mailing a paper application to us at the address below:

To vote in Pennsylvania, you must meet the below requirements:
- Register at least 15 days before the next election.
- Be a citizen of the United States for at least one month before the election.
- Be a resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which you want to register and vote for at least 30 days before the next election.
- Be at least 18 years of age on or before the day of the next election.
